Musket caps and Black Powder Sales

Welcome to the Musket Caps page, here at Powder, Inc.

As we all should be aware, the realMusket Caps page is at Black Dawge Cartridge Caps. But. We saw an opportunity here. Order the caps and pay a hazmat fee for shipping. Order Black Powder and pay a hazmat fee for shipping. But . . if we pack them all into one shipment, the caps and black powder - Whoa, Nelly, there needs only be a single hazmat fee.

Nothing comes for free. So, we are limited in what we can combine into the same box. For one thing, to leave room for caps - only Five (5) and ten (10) pound orders. If you need the full carton, there isn't room for any caps at all. Which puts you back on the regular Black Powder order page. The Diamondback powder and Pinnacle full-case offers don't leave room for caps. Sorry. Diamondback blackpowders and full-case offers are only available on the Black Powder page.

Um, you should notice - we only included the 1F, 2F, and 3F granulations on this page. The full line of our black powders are right where they have been, on the Black Powder order page. (Please don't tell on me. I fudged my instructions, and left the Swiss and KIK 1.5F granulation on here, too.)

Then there are the Caps. Genuine, CCI caps. That take up space, too. We are starting with 1,000 caps, until we figure out how many fit in the box. For now, if you want the price breaks of 5k or 10k caps, there is the Black Dawge Caps page.

Which leaves - order a few caps and a bit of powder here.

  • Shipping: Your caps and blackpowder order is delivered to an adult right at your door via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. We will email the carrier and tracking number to you when we ship your order.


To Order:

1. Print out and sign the Statement of Release and Certification

Sale of Black Powder is regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Sale is limited to adults 21 years of age.

Print out and sign the statement of Release and Certification. A signed release statement must be on file to accept an order. Black Powder cannot be resold. Any questions about dealer orders, or other information, please call.

2. Shipping and Order Information

SHIPPING POLICY

  • Powder, Inc. ships UPS Ground or FedEx Ground to 48 states in the United States of America.
  • Shipments are available in 5 or 10 lb. case lots. Lots may contain combinations of product
  • Maximum order (from this page only): 10 lbs.
  • Delivery requires adult signature.
  • No C.O.D.'s
  • Individuals must have a use and release statement on file before the order will ship. Please FAX this document to Powder, Inc. at (479) 754-6281
  • Dealers must have F.E.I. (Federal Explosive License) on file before shipping.

3. Select Product

Order 5 or 10 pounds per order. We will not accept orders for partial cases.

Order full case lots (5 or 10 lbs per case) in any granulation or manufacture mix, to a maximum order of 10 pounds.

We can pack caps and powder together. We need to count 'em, though, to see how many we can stick in the same case. Watch for this limit to increase as we explore the outer limits of all the possibilities.

4. Pay for your blackpowder

We accept major credit cards by phone (1-877-833-1799), certified check and money order for orders to the continental US (lower 48 states). Call for special arrangements for Alaska deliveries.

Note -- there can be no returns of blackpowder once accepted. Neither UPS nor FedEx Ground will accept a blackpowder package from any business or individual, whether for shipment or for return, who does not hold a current UPS hazardous material shipping license.

Reminder -- We must have your release statement before we can ship your order. We keep all Release statements on file for our records, and for ATF reporting requirements.

5. FAX or mail ID and Signed Statement

Send a copy of the signed statement of release and certification Statement certifying that the buyer is not a dealer, and the powder will not be resold. Send the statement by one of the following means:
